Our nurseries were proud to achieve accreditation status awarded by the Early Years Nutrition Partnership. Over the course of 2017, our staff team worked closely with a local nutritionist, who assisted us in reviewing our nursery menus to ensure that they were nutritionally balanced. In 2018, we continue to work closely rolling out training to all staff on the importance of good nutrition and hydration in young children.
Our nurseries work in partnership with the local health improvement service by carrying out a daily tooth brushing programme for all children, providing each child with their own toothbrush and toothpaste for use at nursery.
We are proud to hold food hygiene ratings of 5 stars at each nursery awarded by Environmental Health - the highest score you can achieve
We are currently working towards the Millie’s Mark award for both nurseries which we intend to achieve by Easter 2018.
Millies Mark recognises nursery providers who go above and beyond minimum requirements in keeping children safe
Our chosen charity is Salford Food Bank - our nurseries are collection points for the food bank which donates emergency food supplies to local families in crisis.
Each week, the toddlers and pre-school children at each nursery enjoy
a ‘Stretch & Grow’ class. In these classes they learn all about their
bodies, muscle groups, nutrition and exercise, having lots of fun in the
process. We do not charge any additional fees for these classes
We are proud sponsors of the Under 8’s girls’ football team at local Winton
Wanderers.
We feel that this is a very worthwhile local sponsorship as we are keen to
encourage sport in young children whenever possible.
We were very proud that our apprentice nursery nurse, Shannon Purcell, was awarded the title of Apprentice of the Year 2017 by Salford City College. She was chosen from over 500 apprentices across all sectors, not just childcare, for going above and beyond to develop children's learning experiences.

I feel my child is making good progress developmentally and learning well. I feel the evidence is very detailed and demonstrates her learning extremely well.
I am really pleased with my child’s development in all areas. We have seen lots of progress in the last few months as he moves from babies to toddlers. I love seeing what he has been up to and seeing his progress in date format. He is loving nursery!
